TreeHive is a winery that produces mead, cider, and wine. We are heavily mead focused at the moment. Mead is the world’s oldest known fermented beverage and it’s main fermentable is honey. We have bees we take care of and we try to use their honey in each of our  handcrafted batches.

Treehive is a mead focused winery in Brocton, Illinois founded in 2019. We take the greatest treasure in the world (honey) and blend it with water, fruits, and spices to make an alcoholic beverage called mead. We source our honey from all over world. There are many different varietals of honey and they all have their own flavor. The greatest thing about mead is the endless possibilities of flavors you can achieve. We look forward to sharing and educating you about our products.

What is mead?

Mead is an alcoholic beverage made by fermenting honey and water. You can also add other ingredients including fruits and spices. The possibilities are endless when it comes to what you can make. Multiple flavor combinations make mead an extremely lovable and diverse drink.
